I am tracing the history of American cuneiform collections prior to 1970, focusing on private acquisition and institutional exchanges.
I study Bronze Age Mesopotamian cities and their civic, economic, and legal institutions. I also work on provenance records of American cuneiform collections prior to 1970.

I investigated the institutional economy of two Old Babylonian cities using a relational database built for 2,500 cuneiform records and 13,000 attested names.
