There's an interesting name proposal for a road in Ur: Buzû street. It's possible that this may have been the ancient name for area EM's "Quiet Street".
In UET 5, 123, a built structure measuring 1.83 sar (~65m2) "adjacent to Buzû street" (DA E.SÍR bu-zu-ú) exchanged hands. According to Charpin, this could be read 'White Street' (puṣû), i.e. the ancient name of Wooley's 'Quiet Street', but "[c]e serait toutefois un cas sans parallèle...".
Charpin notes that the formula E.SÍR + Personal Name is much more common, with the personal name relating to the house at the street's end.
UET 5, 123 is related to "Quiet Street no. 7", which is highlighted here on the edge of the map. So, should we expect the road to continue to Buzû's house?
