Divine Signatures

What did a god use to sign their documents? They had a cylinder seal just like everyone else.

For example, the famous "Shamash-Aya" cylinder seals. These are special because we have so many of them (over ten catalogued in CDLI). Cylinder seals were also given to gods as offerings. They were made with precious, imported stones like jasper, carnelian and lapis lazuli.
